
The Challenge (Briefing)
“Within the wide field of climate change and sustainability, research through observation and interaction what keeps people from adapting particular traits of sustainable behaviour in their everyday life. Identify a particular obstacle and design a solution to overcome it in the simplest way possible. Consider solutions using digital media and communication, but do not blend out non-digital solutions if they appear more suitable for a particular reason.”
After researching on climate change in Germany, Kenya and global, we came to the following three big topics.
After some more research on the topics, we voted for the first two topics (every team member had one star to vote).
- Plastic Trash
- sustainable Roses
- sustainable Transport
As a next step we brainstormed for new solutions on the two first topics „Plastic trash“ and „sustainable flowers“.
Here you can see all the ideas.
Each person had three stars in total to vote for the best ideas.
In the end two ideas were nearly even. The team decided to move on the second one.
- Transmedia orientated Storytelling campaign to increase awareness on fairtrade flowers
- Exhibition „Be Fantastic – Don’t Do Plastics“
We discussed the feasibility of the two projects.
We decided to concentrate on one idea because working on both would be to much to do in the giving time period.
